The Little Monitor That Could

Designed for photographers, v-loggers, and content creators, Lilmon 5 HDR monitor doubles the brightness of typical entry level monitors to 1000 nits. It meets the minimum brightness requirement for outdoor shooting and seamlessly fits into a creative's workflow with its Swift OS touch screen, enhancing production efficiency.

Display Panel Designed for Outdoor Use

Lilmon 5 utilizes a dedicated 1000nits touch panel with low reflection, anti-fingerprint coating, and a high-efficiency backlight unit. This panel offers excellent outdoor visibility, 10-bit color precision, 1000:1 contrast ratio, standard D65 color temperature, and eliminates the need for a cooling fan. It ensures a crisp image for outdoor shooting, unlocking your creative potential in every situation.

Superb Image Quality

Lilmon 5 employs the same powerful color management engine as osee's high-quality field monitor. With 22 bits of internal processing, this color engine delivers precise color and tone rendering, enhancing fine shadow and skin tone details. Osee's HDR/LOG mapping technology accurately maps HDR/LOG signals from nearly all camera models to display panel, ensuring correct color and tone reproduction. Lilmon 5 also supports on-location calibration with X-Rite probes and osee specialized calibration software, guaranteeing color fidelity and preventing color drifting over time.

Nailing Frame

Lilmon 5 supports all Aspect ratios used in current capture formats, accommodates different Anamorphic lenses with flexible de-squeeze scaling, and provides framing checking tools like one-third rule Crosshatch, Safe area and Center.

Nailing Exposure

With Arri-style False Color tools supporting numerous camera gamma curves, precise exposure control is possible for various camera manufacturers, and custom false color can also be defined by lighting masters. The monitor includes an HD quality Waveform with adjustable density and a nits-based scale, enabling easy luma and color waveform checking similar to Davinci Resolve. Additional tools like Zebra, Vector Scope and Histogram are also provided.

Nailing Focus

The Peaking feature assists in focusing by increasing the image's "sharpness” to exaggerate contrast. It offers 10 levels of sharpness adjustment for clear visibility. The zoom function allows for magnification from 1x to 4x with precise 0.1 steps, facilitating focus checking on different parts of the image. Focus Assist marks areas in focus with different colors such as blue, red, and green, and the image can be switched to black and white for better visibility of the marks if needed.

Nailing Look

The De-log feature applies a standard color grade for different camera LOG/HDR profiles, while the User LUT function enables custom color grading on the signal. Up to 10 user LUTs can be uploaded to the monitor via an SD card. Lilmon 5 also supports User LUT intensity adjustment for precise control over the desired look.

Efficient Workflow for Field Applications

Swift OS offers multiple customizable Mysets that streamline crucial footage checking tasks such as framing, exposure, and focus checking. Switching between different Mysets designed for specific checks is as simple as a single swipe, eliminating the need to dig into menus while shooting.

Reliable Build for On Set Life

Despite its lightweight design, Lilmon 5 features a sturdy polycarbonate housing with a built-in aviation aluminum skeleton. The 1/4'' screw holes are reinforced with metal and paired with anti-rotation pin holes, ensuring reliability on set.

Versatile for All Shooting Scenarios

Lilmon 5 can be easily mounted on any camera configuration using its torque-adjustable tilt arm or other hot shoe mountings. It can be powered by a Sony NPF battery at the back or a V/AB mount battery via an optional DC to D-tap cable. Its compact size and light weight make it ideal for use with gimbals. Additionally, the camera can be powered by its battery through the DC out port.
